Paweł Kuglarz

Graduated from University of Krakow, Faculty of Law, Poland, (Mag. iur.), 1989.
University of Regensburg, Faculty of Law, Germany, 1990
He passed the judge exam in 1996 and the attorney’s-at-law exam in 1999.

In the years 1993–2000 he worked as an associate in Pünder, Volhard, Weber & Axster, Warsaw, Poland, in the years 2000-2001 in Clifford Chance. In the period of 2001 – 2012 he was a partner in Beiten Burkhardt P. Daszkowski Sp. k., Warsaw, 2001 – 2012, in the period of 2013-2016 partner in Wolf Theiss P.Daszkowski Sp.k., then he was a partner in TaylorWessing e|n|w|c E. Stobiecka, Kancelaria prawna sp. k., 2016 – 2018

As from 2018 he is working as an independent lawyer.

He is specializing in bankruptcy and restructuring law, business, civil, commercial and construction law, credit security law, in particular mortgage and real estate law. He is dealing with dispute resolution and investment arbitration.

He is providing legal services for enterprises, primarily various types of infrastructure investments and their financing as well as public-private partnerships. He conducts commercial court and arbitration proceedings.

Didactic activities.
In the years 1999–2001 he was the Director of the School of German Law at the Jagiellonian University. Since 2003, he has been the Director of the Austrian Law School at the Jagiellonian University. Co-founder (secretary of the Scientific Council of this Center) of the Polish-German Center for Banking Law at the Jagiellonian University together with prof. Frederick Zoll.

On top of that, he is an expert of the Economic Law Team at the Ministry of Development, he was chairman for infrastructure financing at the Ministry of Infrastructure and Construction, in 2012 he was appointed a member of the bankruptcy law team at the Ministry of Justice, which prepared new
